A Celebration of a beloved and long-serving monarch

A Celebration of a beloved and long-serving monarch

The picture of grace and class!

I arrived in London today in time for the celebration of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. The weather forecast is cool and wet, but the city is spiffed up and festooned to do honor to their Queen. We had a great walk down by the River Thames, and then poked around St. Paul’s Cathedral, even going up to the Whispering Gallery, and the outside viewing gallery where we had a great view of the grand old city of London. Tomorrow there will be the largest flotilla of boats and barges the river has ever seen.
